Sunshine and Lollipops

I've had this song in my head all day... truly disturbing, but maybe I've been attempting to compensate for the last two days of cloud-covered skies and snow. Or, perhaps I'm just happy that the sun actually came out today and blessed us with its B-E-A-utiful rays of gorgeousness.

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together,
Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine.

My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
That's how this refrain goes, so come on, join in everybody!

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
When you're in love to stay.

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together,
Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine.

My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
That's how this refrain goes, so come on, join in everybody!

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
'Cause you're in love, you're in love,
And love is here to stay!

  1. The Sun will come out (well soon). It's never far here, we just need to lose the layer of ice, and the wind... That's the killer

  2. Oh great, now I'll have that in my head... "The sun will come out, tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow..."

The sun has sort of been out, so that's good... the wind just needs to disappear. No way Chicago can be the windy city... we definitely get more than our fair share. :o)
