On Bicycles

I think this guy has an interesting goal... tracking down stolen bicycles from big bike shops.  Apparently, he has certain key items he looks for when looking for the stolen goods, but it's truly quite fascinating.

Locally, bicycle theft (not of this sort, but more the kind us every day folk worry about) is up 32% according to Denver news. Bicycle theft is a problem across the nation, but it's especially disheartening to see such a big increase when one calls this area home.

And, in this amusing tale, a would-be bank robber fled by bicycle. I'm sure that would be a sight to behold! Can you imagine someone biking madly away with the "$" bags flying about? The image made me giggle a bit, despite the fact that things didn't go down that way at all.

  1. Very interesting, they guy is like a bike crime investigator. The eBay stuff makes sense, i have been scammed in that exact manner before, where someone has multiple bikes, different sizes. Alas, i will never have my Scott Speedster with carbon forks...
