Made it through the first marathon. Yippee!! There are no pictures to prove I was there, but we made it to the finish line - all in one piece (kinda). Glad it's over, but now I keep thinking, "I could've done so much better." For now, I am at peace that I was able to make it to the end, thanks to Poods, and the few volunteers who stuck around the race course to make sure I wasn't dying. Who knows? Maybe there's another in my future.
As the very wise Christopher Robin once said to Pooh, you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
As always, i'm so proud of you. It took a great deal of "Intestinal fortitude" for you to finish, and you had guts all over the place. I was so proud, i was nearly crying when i knew you were going to finish!

I love you! I am so proud of BOTH of us. It was definitely a test of mental fortitude and physical strength. I am amazed at how well you did. Up for round two? :o) - Ms. P
